Our metaphysical busy signal scrapes the serpent’s pew
Before the domicile became a prison, the panic’s vacancy
Is crawling closer to the coming contagion and taxing the toxic screens

Kitty corner, take a call from the coroner: the catalyst is coming through
Another hour of this penitent scour to pass the throughway rue
I’m mulling over automotive asunder, the empty streets at noon
The Mayflower, it’s imperial power: the illusion that brought our doom

Understated is the plight of the loom
Thread-bare, yet no one can see
And I can’t hide from the light in this room
An illusionary eulogy

We can’t uncover the callous encounter that couried the curtains close
Just the feather that unfolds forever and feigns the finance froze
They’re playing poker with and provoking the people’s panic pose
So don’t nurture this nervous narrator or the notaries of his know
