Ten years ago, The Curiously Strong Peppermints released their sophomore album, what was considered their magnum opus to the few people who bothered listening. A sprawling psychedelic pop concept album arranged in three acts, Echoes From The Ultraviolet Fuzz created a sonic carnival of nasally verbose prose, noisy guitars and pocket orchestras. This 10th Anniversary Edition features the original album remixed from the mastertapes--a sonic blanket lifted from the recordings which allows the album to breathe in a new clarity. As a bonus, an extra disc of rarities from this era of the band is included--rare cover recordings, acoustic demos, alternate live versions and album outtakes, showing a virtual 'behind the scenes' look of Echoes From The Ultraviolet Fuzz. The bandcamp digital download also includes extensive liner notes written by head Peppermint Jesse, describing the stories behind the songs.
